We need to "stay awake" - prepared and ever vigilant for Christ’s return.

Even a man who stood in the presence of Jesus, stubbornly loved his sin, more than he loved the Lord.

One cannot truly love and follow God, while selfishly withholding love from others.

Without faith, there can be no fruitfulness.

May we never think so much of ourselves that we make demands of the LORD… while forgetting of the great sacrifice Christ demanded of Himself.

Our treasure is not to be found in personal wealth, but in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Any unfaithfulness should be followed by personal repentance, a plea for forgiveness, and an attempt at reconciliation… especially in our marriages.

Embracing the sacrificial life will help us to avoid causing both others, and ourselves, from stumbling.

Without the grace-filled, life-saving work of Jesus Christ, we are nothing… and we can do… nothing.

Living for Christ's sake, will bring with it difficulties for Christ's sake.
