Validation on social media refers to the need for recognition, approval, and acceptance from others on the platform. It is common for users to post photos, videos, and thoughts in hopes of receiving likes, comments, and shares. While this can be a positive experience, it can also lead to negative consequences.
Validation from others extends to leadership too. There are leaders looking for love and credit from their teams and those around them. To be a good leader though you need to flip that affirmation.
