May we be able to discern GOD’s discipline and learn from our mistakes rather than persisting in them to destruction.

Isaiah prophecies about Judah and the defeat of those they had made a treaty with rather than listening to HIM which includes GOD as a sanctuary and a stumbling block. ???

Faith in GOD allows to have a firm foundation even when all around is troubled. HE IS our firm Foundation.

GOD sends Isaiah with a message that tells the people that they are not going to understand or perceive. JESUS repeats this Scripture as the reason HE tells the people parables. Destruction comes when we do not hear, see, or understand GOD. We must hold tightly to THE ROOT, JESUS

Isaiah sees GOD and the Seraphim and hears their song to his absolute woe due to his unclean lips and that of his people. GOD uses the Seraphim and a coal to cleanse Isaiah.

GOD tells the people of Judah about their lack of justice and the Judgment that will bring upon them though they taunt GOD.

GOD does not abide with evil forever but in the midst of HIS JUDGMENT, there is a safe haven for the righteous.

Isaiah has a Vision of the time when GOD teaches the nations and people do not learn war anymore. This ends with the call to action of “let us walk in The Light of THE LORD”. May we take up that call to HIS GLORY.

Isaiah’s vision in Isaiah 1 shows that GOD isn’t fooled by show and knows our reasoning and heart as much as HE knew that of Judah and Jerusalem. HE has the answer for us to return and be made white as snow if we will listen.
