Joshua proclaims in verse this oath that curses the man that rebuilds a city that is founded on destructive beliefs and behavior. That curse is later fulfilled in 1 Kings 16:34 and that story teaches us to value more deeply our identity in GOD.
Job is restored to twice the possessions and with beautiful daughters and sons of the same count as before hinting at the eternity of humans in the spirit realm.
GOD continued HIS tour of creation, ending with two great animals we are not sure what is described. Job had heard of GOD but now sees a lot more of HIS POWER and EXCELLENCE in Creation and repents, not for sin, but for lack of understanding.
GOD takes Job on a tour of the animals and describes each to him and asks him if he can do what GOD does in commanding and preparing them and their food and their birth. A beautiful tour of GOD’s care for creatures with which we would have little contact
