Training Wheels not Included

In this episode Joe and Emma play some Mario Cart on their Nintendo Switch while they talk. Emma and Joe discuss what she looks for in a good school and the importance of parents spending time with children all while they play video games in the background. 

Every family needs a 4 legged friend, in this episode we talk about our crazy, lazy, furry, and loving dog Baloo. We discuss what it was like when we first saw him and what smelly adventures he has been with us. Emma discusses new responsibilities that come with having a family pet. Baloo is not just our dog, but he is part of our family.  

Life brings unexpected turns and with the state of the world right now the Sanchez family is faced with one. Emma is missing from this podcast due to still being with her father for an extended spring break due to not being able to travel back home to her mother and Joe. Joe is left doing the podcast solo which he was not ever planning on but during this podcast he talks about the craziness out in the world right now and he reminisces on what it has been like watching Emma grow in the world of sports.  

Riding solo is fun but it is even better to have friends to ride along. Emma and Joe discuss current events in their lives as well sharing stories about building friendships and what makes a good friend. Emma tells us the story of how she became friends with Isabella while Joe introduces us to one of his best friends Huevo (Egg); Emma also finds out the Huevo is not his actual name and she get the story behind the nickname! They touch on the importance of friendships in our lives as we face different stages of life. 

Life brings many hills and valleys and we must all learn to make adjustments to continue moving forward. Emma and Joe briefly discuss what life was like before the wedding and what changes were made after. Emma lets you know what was one of her hardest changes she had to make once Joe moved in.  Joe touches on the topic of no longer coaching baseball and having to be responsible for another human being overnight. A dad joke segment is introduced to the podcast and Joe tells the story of the foot fault that was and destroyed a local corn hole championship. 

In this episode we give a quick introduction into who we are and how Emma and Joe first met. Emma shares here thoughts and how she felt when her mom introduced her to Joe.
