Lt: Trakų pilis, balta kaip sniegas, iškilusi virš užšalusio ežero, priminė pasaką.
En: Trakai Castle, white as snow, rising above the frozen lake, resembled a fairy tale.

Lt: Žieminis kilimas apgaubė visas pilies sienas, o lempelės mirgėjo tarsi mažos žvaigždės.
En: A winter carpet wrapped all the castle walls, and lamps flickered like little stars.

Lt: Eglė stovėjo prie pilies vartų, sugnaibydama šaltas rankas.
En: Eglė stood by the castle gates, rubbing her cold hands.
