The rise of social media has meant that we as a Transgender community are more connected than we have ever been in the history of time.

However, our reliance on social media can have a detrimental effect on our mental health, with the average person checking their phone as much as 28 times a day. 

While social media platforms can have their benefits, using them too frequently can make you feel increasingly unhappy and isolated in the long run. We discuss the positives and negatives along with the usual off chute topics we are known for. Have a listen and we hope you enjoy this episode.

In this episode we discuss our periods, yes we get them, and they are just as bad as Cis gender women's. We may not have the bleeding but we sure have all the other symptoms. Even prior to transition both of us had the dreaded headaches, nausea along with bloating due to abnormally high estrogen levels prior to HRT for Niki and Terri had intestinal issues the cycled naturally. We discuss how we were in disbelief having them prior to HRT, what we have gone through pre-op and post-op, research that is required, endocrinologist feedback and more.

We go into quite a bit of depth on what you can expect going through customs, scanners with prosthetics, passports, driver licenses, best practices, TSA guidelines and out of country information. In this episode we share our personal experiences coming out to our spouses, the ramifications of doing so, and explaining too or spouses why we have to do this for our very survival. The pain and suffering that we all went through along with all the significant changes that had to be made. Losing your spouse when you are still in love is not easy but the only other choice was to not live at all. Many in the community go through the loss of a spouse and we hope that our stories give some comfort that you are not alone and that life is truly better even with the loss of a loved one.

Dysphoria was/is Brutal This shit really sucks
