Discipleship at TCC is people committed to the journey toward service, intentional relationship, and holding sacred space for themselves, one another, and the City of Milwaukee.
Service: taking who you are and what you have and working to benefit another. Intentional Relationships: We move toward people – friends, those in need, those who are different, enemies, etc. – we recognize the Imago Dei in ALL. Sacred Space: Establishing a sanctuary in our daily lives in which we come face to face with ourselves, God, and other people.
Romans 12:6-8
“We must demonstrate that we are the people of God by our actions, by our concern for the poor and the oppressed in our society. We must remove society’s blinders and replace them with Christ-like compassion for the poor. Without this manifestation of our faith, without this ‘proof,’ then our proclaimation is hollow.”
