Many pastors today make the mistake of painting a picture of Christianity that leads people to believe that life will be a bed of roses if they would just give their lives to Christ. Unfortunately, when the first trial comes - as they most certainly will - the new believers often find themselves discouraged and feeling abandoned by God.
