Transformed By Grace

This episode on Philippians 2:25-30 presents one of the Apostle Paul’s co-workers, Epaphroditus, as a powerful real-life example of having “the mind of Christ.” A trustworthy Gentile believer, he was a layman sent by the Philippian church to deliver a love gift to the imprisoned Paul in Rome, then stayed to serve as Paul’s brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier—risking his life through serious illness “for the work of Christ” without regard for himself. Paul commends Epaphroditus highly, sends him home with honor, and urges the church to receive him with gladness and hold him in high esteem, showing that true greatness is found in humble, selfless service for Christ rather than position or fame.
