In this session, Nate Johnson, Student Pastor at The Crossing, will be walking through how your personality type greatly affects your relationship with God. You’ll discover new ways to relate and connect with Him like never before. From this session, you’ll understand better your next steps in your involvement in advancing God’s Kingdom.

What would your life look like and how would it be different if you were more fully aligned to God’s plans and purposes for your life? For most, it would be a movement away from tiredness and burnout and towards greater fulfillment and joy. In this session, we will be looking at key thoughts and actions that align us more and more with God’s truth and His purposes for our life that can transform us emotionally, spiritually, relationally, and physically.

The most used phrase in the Bible is, "God said" or "God spoke”. Real transformation has come into my life through keeping a focus on my relationship with God. I have never heard an audible voice from God but I have been led by His spirit. I’ll be sharing principles to center our lives in God’s word and character. Hearing the voice of God is a learned skill. I will also share some breakthroughs and blunders experienced along the way.

We all have those moments when we feel like we are running on fumes and have had ENOUGH.  If we keep moving at an unsustainable pace, we will find ourselves in an unsustainable place. Oftentimes, especially as men, we choose those moments to escape. In those moments, we find ourselves in places we never had planned to be. But what if God had another plan?  Elijah felt those same feelings and it was only through a quiet moment with God that he was able to regain perspective and move back towards where God desired him to be.

As guys, we all can live with rough edges…have a harsh tone…be short with people…sarcastic…filled with anger and rage…even being unnecessarily rough on ourselves with all kinds of negative self-talk. What is the most oft-called penalty in football? How often is Unnecessary Roughness called on us?
