“Transforming and Thriving," hosted by 3 best friends (Brooke, Stacie, and Neelia), is a podcast dedicated to showcasing the stories of resilient women who have persevered through pivotal transitions and/or traumas. Each episode highlights an everyday woman navigating challenges and how she turned her mess into meaningful and motivational fuel. The podcast aims to illuminate the WORK, the COURAGE, and the STRENGTH of these women’s journeys. Transforming and Thriving was motivated by the desire to build an inspiring community that shares the message we all need to hear when going through something that seems insurmountable…You are not alone and you too, can transform and thrive!
In this episode, we share our "why" behind the birth of this podcast as well as the meaning behind the logo that includes a lotus flower and a butterfly. We can't wait to share the inspiring stories of resilient women...the first two interviews with Neelia Heydt and Micole Noble will be published on 11/11/24! See you there!
About the team:
Brooke Sacchetti, cohost of the Transforming and Thriving podcast, has always been passionate about self-improvement and human connection. Her dedication to supporting others in reaching their full potential shines through her work as a behavior analyst and in her practice as a yoga and mindfulness meditation teacher. She is a proud Marine spouse and is grateful for the love and support of her husband, family, and friends. With this podcast, she is thrilled to highlight the messages of inspiring women and hopes to create a positive ripple in the world.
Dr. Stacie Cooper/Weaver, cohost of Transforming and Thriving, is a doctor of clinical psychology who has supported girls and women for 22 years in their unique journeys to be in the process of transforming and thriving through transitions. She has gone through many of her own transitions, including a divorce, multiple moves, career changes, loss of loved ones, becoming a mom right before she turned 40…and she is currently married to the love of her life with a 3-year-old boy she adores. She is a certified mindfulness meditation instructor, life coach, and Pilates instructor. Stacie has published a number of books, ranging from children’s picture books to self-help workbooks for teens.
Neelia Heydt began as the assistant behind the curtain and microphones at Transforming and Thriving and is now also a cohost. After a successful career and a challenging battle with cancer, she retired early to focus on health and well-being. She is grateful to live in beautiful San Clemente with her supportive husband and cheerful dog. Her days are filled with travel adventures, volunteering, and embracing the joys of life. This new chapter is all about cherishing each moment and giving back to the community that has supported her.
