He has been teaching at the IU School of Medicine since then and is currently the Residency Program Director. He graduated from Western Illinois University and obtained his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. Before starting New City Church, he served as an Assistant Pastor at Christ Community Church (PCA) in Carmel, IN for five years. He also teaches Practical Theology (spiritual formation and preaching) at Indianapolis Theological Seminary. Carmen Williams has worked alongside Roger in pastoral ministry and church planting and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Truman State University. She has held administrative roles at New City Church, Young Life, and Parakaleo, and currently works full-time as a Compliance Analyst at Community Health Network. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, going on dates with her husband, spending time with friends and family, and being active outdoors. Amanda's grandmother was her only consistent Christian influence growing up; however, she didn't come to faith until she was 25. Justin's family required him to attend church when he was younger, but he didn't make his faith his own until later in life. After coming to faith through different routes, Justin and Amanda also found one another through their mutual affinity for coaching young men and women in football and basketball. Amanda graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Secondary Math Education, and she later earned a master's degree in Secondary Education. She joined Covenant in 2017 after teaching at several other schools.Justin graduated from Indiana University Purdue University Columbus, where he earned a BA in General Studies.
