Breigh is a trans man who, at the time of our recording, was 76 days sober. Looking back on the years that he struggled with alcoholism, he needed to get away from a mindset that people are only alcoholics once they've become dysfunctional beyond repair. This helped Breigh to recognize and stop patterns that were causing destruction. Breigh says alcohol should be seen as the addictive substance that it is instead of a normalized social occurrence that you can't seem to get away from.
