In this episode, we invite Maricza McKenzie. Maricza is a Veteran who served over 9 years in the U.S. Army. During her time as a Reservist, she joined the NPower training program to advance her technology skillset & develop a career in the field. Upon graduating from NPower she was offered a full-time position & now works as a Recruitment Admissions Manager. In her role, she helps veterans and military spouses transition to careers in tech through NPower’s training program.

🎤Maricza at (04:05) - Our program is completely free.
🎤Maricza at (04:56) - The tech fundamental is 23 weeks long. So, you’re going to do 16 weeks of intense training, IT training in the classroom. Right now we are 100 virtual. So, that’s another mic drop.
🎤Maricza at (11:05) - We have our career team, who works with all of our trainees to help them with their resumes, to help them with networking skills.
🎤Maricza at (13:25) - The application will come to myself. It will come to myself and my student recruiting.
🎤 Earnest at (14:38) - Remember only 1% of the population serves. Those are a different kind of person who wants to be selfless, right? And that’s the kind of person I want on my team.
