Behaviour is complex! It requires a nuanced approach to the vagaries of peoples lives and on elements of the contexts in which they live, engage, and participate in their local communities.

In Translating Complexity – The Art and Science of PBS we explore the science (behaviour change modifications and techniques) of Positive Behaviour Support within the context of NDIS behaviour support services.

This first series will have a focus on 'practice' series icluding soft skills (managing time / managing Service Agreements and tasks / identifying what task you are actually completing – based on SA / billable time / communication with families and others, etc.). Additionally, focused interviews with specialists in this field, including, a Specialist Support Coordinator Restrictive Practices expert, and disability and mental health experts. Family conversations and a chat with a person living with disabilities will be explored.

Series 2 will focus on specialist areas of practice (Forensic Disability / Mental Health / specialty conditions, etc.).
