Rachel Gardner sits down with Dr. Lucie Moore as they begin to unpack Translating God, a research project undertaken by the Youthscape Centre for Research. Published in three parts and representing more than two years of work with input from a diverse group of more than a thousand young people, Translating God explores how young people understand and respond to the Christian story. So whether you're a church leader, youth worker or parent, you'll want to see what this ground-breaking research will mean for how you work with young people.
The first four episodes of the season dig into part 1 of Translating God, the Trend Report. This part sets the scene by understanding how young people’s lives in the UK have changed in the last decade. In today's episode, we dig into the how and why this project came to be, as well as look at three headlines from the Trend Report - how there are less young people out late, how loneliness is on the rise and how there are fewer young people in steady romantic relationships.
