In this foster home, I detail the events of the abuse I suffered at the hands of my foster mother's husband, and how it affected me. I also talk about my aunt and how she was my advocate and answer to make the abuser stop abusing me.

In this episode I talk about the move to my new foster home placement in the city of Carson, with my younger sister. I will discuss the struggles I faced with meeting new friends, the teachers at my new school, I will describe how this home affected me, what it took from me, and the differences that I noticed between my prior foster home to this new foster home placement. Also, listen out for some tips that I share for those who may be considering becoming a foster parent or adoptive parent.

Hello my transparency with tray listeners. This episode is just me reading about a Gina Pearson young girl's journey through foster care, her healing, and what she chooses to do to help those who have been in her shoes. Very inspirational. This is from an article that I came across on good housekeeping. This story just shows that no matter what we may endure in our lives, we can change the narrative. We can create the kind of family we want and that family does not have to be blood related.
