On January 10th, 2023, the K2 Group at Quintessential Mortgage, Moran Agencies, Colon & Villaplana LLP, and CN Financial LLC organized a Real Estate Educational & Networking Event at Boca Oyster Bar in Bridgeport, CT.  

I had the great fortune of serving as the Keynote Speaker and, more importantly, the privilege of delivering an important message of inspiration to the Real Estate professionals in attendance.

Last week I had the great pleasure of having a fantastic conversation with Erika Eng, Executive Director at Sacred Heart University's Discovery Science Center & Planetarium in Bridgeport, CT.

In the middle of the day, kids running around & enjoying themselves, Erika and I had a wonderful conversation about purpose, her interest in nonprofit work, parenting, and the journey that ultimately aligned her with her dream job, amongst other things.

After years of talking about producing this interview Keila and I finally did it!  

Keila, a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, is also a Managing Editor for the Connecticut Post. In this conversation I was able to truly get to know Keila's motivation, passion, and some of her goals.   

In our conversation we also had the opportunity to take a deep dive into postpartum depression and how it affected her. We discussed some of the things we can all do if we, or someone we know, is battling through postpartum depression.

Frankie and I had a great conversation centered around mental health, purpose, passion, risk-taking, and family. It's amazing to see everything he was able to do, alongside his family, once he made the decision to step forward.

Santos and I sat down for a conversation that was a long time coming and one I was very excited for. I've admired his talent and work ethic for years and I knew an interview with him would help us truly appreciate who he is. I found that not only is he an amazing DJ but, more importantly, he's a great human being who has a lot of wisdom to share at the tender age of 34.

Although one could sometimes feel as if we know a person because of what we see and hear on the outside the truth is there's always a lot happening behind the scenes, physically, mentally and emotionally that only a select few know. I'm grateful to have to opportunity to discuss these things with Santos and I hope this interview inspires you to open up about some of the feelings you've been suppressing.
