This episode is about the classic (interpretive) piece of propogandic film Reefer Madness. Made in the 1930's as a warning to America's youth at the *supposed* dangers of marijuana.

It has it all...as Stefon would say-intrigue, abuse, murder, self-un-aliving, and just a slew of fake scenarios that the men of the mid-30's were trying to "Tell the Children" to be aware of. Coming out of the "Roaring 20's", America was having a shifting moment into absolute zzzzzzzzz snoozefest.

We are back with the continuation of High Maintenance the HBO series.

As before we loove this series, it's just a slice of life, human experience, and we were very satisfied with it.

As per usual there will be SPOILERS for this show and otherr shows and books that we are watching and discussing.

Given the unfortunate lack of weed media we are choosing to do High Maintenance in 2 parts; the webseries and the tv show on HBO. Both are magic and deserve their own time, but we also needed to take up some space on the episodes.

This show has definitley stood out for both of us among the stereotypical weed media floating around, it was such a vibe. The episodes are short, sweet and packed full of human experiences that The Guy meets from selling weed in NYC.

We fully recommend watching this show before you listen but the spoilers are minimal.
