An in-depth conversation with Patrice Bobo-Miles. Patrice has been a force in the mortgage industry for the past 23 years. Her passion for empowering people through homeownership has fueled her latest project, Money Matters-Discovering and Navigating through your Money Trauma. She has had her own story of financial trauma that we will discuss tonight.   Under the umbrella of her business P. Bobo-Miles Collective LLC, she works with clients to teach responsible money management and credit. Offering them the guidance and tools to become financially stable. 

I discussed with Patrice some of the struggles that she faced during the housing market crash of 2007-2008. She became an expert in money trauma because she mastered getting out of credit card debt. She talked about some of the financial traumas that we inherited and face in the black community and she gave tangible tools to create a new story surrounding money.
