Derek Hogan is a 15 year veteran in first responder fields who can honestly say his life has been shaped by coping with tragedy. Derek created Yellow box partners podcast in 2022 to find others in different fields who have been subjected to ptsd and other forms of trauma.
Derek’s career has affected his personal life - as a father, as a husband, and as a friend, He’s had to rebuild his life many times
without understanding what he was going through.
He come from a small town on the eastern part of Québec, Canada. Derek always thought ptsd was more of a regional thing but has learned that the stigmas and daily struggles are not reserved to urban areas.
At the age of 40, Derek decided to make a difference and explore the questions all of
us need answers to.
Derick Hogan is a paramedic and a part time firefighter.
