One way to better understand a city is to learn about its art scene.  Art museums and art galleries provide both beauty and a deeper cultural understanding to your travel.  In today’s episode, Alison and Stephanie speak with Rosie about her time in London, where she worked at Sotheby's Auction House and attended the Courtauld Institute of Art.  She will talk about her time in the art world in London and give tips on how to make the most of a city’s art scene during your travel.

In this episode, Alison and Stephanie speak with Chris, an English teacher and antiquarian bookseller, about her time traveling through the UK visiting bookstores and literary locations.  We will also do a deep dive into the Lake District of England, known to inspire many renowned authors.  The 2026 Winter Olympics held in both Milan and Cortina, Italy was a global sporting event encompassing 19 days of competition. In this episode, Alison and Stephanie interview Dana and Patrice, mother and aunt respectively to Olympic Alpine skier, AJ Hurt, about their experience attending the Winter Olympics. They will discuss what it is like to be there in person, as well as give tips for anyone who would like to attend. The next Olympics will be held in the summer of 2028 in Los Angeles, California.

Want to climb a mountain?  In part three of our three-part series called, “Climb Every Mountain!”  Alison and Stephanie discuss advanced mountain climbing with Heidi Richards, a mountain climber and guide who is one of only approximately 500 people who have climbed the Seven Summits, which are highest mountains on each continent.  Climbing all seven peaks is considered one of the greatest mountaineering challenges in the world.
