Two business-oriented upper-class hotels. One is close to the Tampa Airport the other is in the heart of the hip Brickell area of Miami just south of downtown Miami.
We review both of these hotels, comparing them but also noting their intended market, one being for travelers to the Tampa Airport and the other looking for a place to stay in the heart of Miami.
Please note that neither of these stays was sponsored, and I paid for my trip, so I am giving you my honest opinion of these two hotels.
Hilton Garden Inn Airport Westshore

Both of these hotels do very well in our ratings.
The Hilton Garden Inn Westshore is very convenient to the Tampa International Airport, being only 3 minutes from the Airport Car Rental Center and only 6 minutes from the airport itself.
Meanwhile, The Aloft Hotel Miami Brickell is located right in the heart of the hip Brickell neighborhood of Miami, which is just across the Miami River from downtown Miami. The hotel is just a block from the Miami Metro Rail station and a block and a half from the Miami Metro Mover people mover system that will take you downtown and offer connections to Brightline and the Omni loop, which will take you north of downtown.
Overall the Aloft Hotel is a better value from the dollar as it was less expensive than comparable hotels or even lower-end hotels in the area. However, the Hilton Garden Inn is not a great value for the dollar as there are other hotels in the area that offer a comparable experience for less money.
However, when looking at all the categories, we look at the two hotels tie. They are both good hotels.
