Interested in obtaining your travel health certificate? PANS' Suzanne Richards-Aucoin catches up with Lisa Woodill on how she studied and obtained her travel health certificate, her journey of opening up her own travel clinic and some useful tips for patient travel consultations.
Lisa Woodill is currently the Director of Pharmacy Practice for the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia. Lisa also received her Certificate in Travel Health® from the International Society of Travel Medicine in 2011. Since that time, she has been providing consultations and immunizations to travelers in various travel clinics in Nova Scotia. Lisa’s Declarations and conflict(s) of interest include the following: She has received honorariums from Roche Diagnostics and payment from Pear Healthcare in the past. She is currently the lead on the CPPCC project, using products from Abbott Diagnostics, Roche Diagnostics and some sponsorship from Shoppers Drug Mart. She is currently working for The Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia but has been a contract employee of AMP Group and Sobeys National Pharmacy Group in the past.
