We know we must keep regular maintenance on our rigs.  Most of us have no problem remembering to check things like tires, batteries, and lights.  But there are many systems on the rig that we might not think to look at or know how to.

 In this episode, I have a conversation with Ronnie Cooper about the need for preventative maintenance and some things to look out for that we might not think of.

 Ronnie and his wife Elaine have been Sojourners for several years.  Ronnie also has a strong background in maintenance.  He is a retired aircraft maintenance person for Delta Airlines.  He brings that wealth of knowledge and experience to helping us maintain our rigs.  Ronnie has also conducted workshops for Sojourners on this subject.

We know that being a Sojourner is a wonderful way of life.  But if we add that another Sojourner couple happen to be related to us, it makes it all the more wonderful.  Sometimes we even sojourn together.

In this episode I visit with Larry and Kay Little.  Kay is my wife's sister and I guess we have to claim Larry since he's married to Kay.  Seriously though, this wonderful couple means so much to so many as together we travel with a purpose.

I know two things for certain about Sojourners, yeah 3…  Sojourners love to eat, love to play games, and relevant to this podcast, love to save money!  I don’t mean to imply we are cheap, but we are frugal.

I’m taking a bit of a departure from the “normal” topic of RV's and traveling, but I think you’ll enjoy it.  If you like good mysteries, perhaps good spooky or science fiction stories, then this episode, and the podcast channel will appeal to you.  I have a conversation with Robert Barber, host of the podcast, “State of the Unknown”, a fun, entertaining, and informative show that features folklore, legends, myths, and stories from all over the United States.  

Robert has a wonderful talent for storytelling. He does thorough research that helps bring stories to life.  He also offers additional insights into how a story could happen and how it began.

I am thrilled when I hear passion in the voice of people as they discuss their life and how they help others overcome challenges to hope.  Such is the case with my guest in this episode.  I am having a conversation with BT Irwin of the Christian Chronicle Newspaper.

Shawn Hull is the Executive Director for the Cherokee Home for Children.  Sojourners are very knowledgeable of this ministry as we have sojourns there every year.

Camp Bee is a treasure for Sojourners and our Lord's Kingdom.  It is where our administrative office is but more importantly, it is a place for Sojourners to come refresh, enjoy fellowship, and plan activities in God's service.

We invite you to come visit Camp Bee, especially if you are someone thinking about becoming a Sojourner.  Camp Bee is located just off I-20 in Marshall, Texas.  The physical location is  at 5554 Cooks Road.  This beautiful facility has lots of RV hookups and 8 cabins.  It is located between Shreveport, Louisiana and Longview, Texas.
