What would you think about seeing iguanas? Or perhaps some really cool deer exotic birds? Maybe see a really cool mansion from the late 1800s or peacocks? How about some giant tortoises or an amazing view of Mazatlan?

I believe I've now seen three advertisements for different cruise lines that have been retrofitted so that you can sail around the world in a two to three year period hitting over 300 destinations. The latest was a cruise line that offers for $30,000 a year to give you lodging on their ship and an opportunity to even share your cruising experience with other friends and family they'll like to join you for a limited time. If all of your other expenses were eliminated including healthcare, travel, food, and insurance, is $30,000 per person really that much? Could you work remotely and with an average US income enjoy traveling the world?

My frugal wife has been traveling all over the place and reminding me what it means to travel frugally. She found deals at a few different Marriotts and on a couple different airlines as well as on a couple Cruise lines. A friend sent my wife and I a link from Yahoo finance about a company that is allowing people to circumnavigate at the world and 24 months as they reside on a cruise ship. The cost? $8,000 a month. Could that actually save you money if you no longer had to worry about mortgage payments, car payments, and utilities ?

Park city has some pretty cool places to see. If you like sitting and people watching on a bench made out of a ski lift or out of snowboards, or eating sushi and steak, or maybe just enjoying art galleries and photo galleries visit Park City. Stores like Burton, North Face, Patagonia, and boutique knife shop dot the North and South side of Main Street in Old Park City. And don't forget to visit the museum and all the shops selling Park City trinkets.

If you like magic shows, amazing German or Italian food, or like playing on a beach or in the mountains then you must had to tahoe! From the tram ride up the mountain to the cool Lake and the excellent outdoor markets you're going to love Tahoe! We had the opportunity to play Pickleball each morning for a few mornings, enjoyed Gelato and eat empanadas while enjoying the sights and sounds of cool summer nights in South Lake Tahoe.

Always do your homework and plan well in advance and even pay for your vacation in advance. But please do savor those down times and hours and hours in between your planned events. Take time to enjoy some ice cream or get off the beaten path and see something that's not in the travel books. It's always enjoyable to do something that no one else has ever done or that's just a local favorite!

Did you know when you go to visit the London Tower in London that there's more than one tower? One Tower houses the jewels, another Tower was for prisoners and yet another Tower was for torturing people. If you love history or if you love architecture then this is a wonderful place to visit! Plan to spend at least 3 hours and enjoy cobblestone streets and the changing of the guard!
