  • Ooh, you smell good! Where in the WORLD are you going?
When people travel they usually like to collect a particular type of souvenir to memorialize their travels. One of the things I have done over the years as I’ve traveled around the world is to purchase a fragrance unique to the destination or region visited. Fragrances are mood enhancers so when I go to my dresser and spray a fragrance it not only smells good, but it conjures up memories that mentally takes me back to a time and place in travel that I so enjoyed. In this episode, my guest, Dr. Hamirah Mobley of @dr.mobleyluvsperfume and I have a savory chat about fragrances.
Socially connect with Dr. Mobley. She can curate a fragrance just for you.

  • Travel Photography
During the height of the pandemic when we were shut in and locked down, my photos from past travels helped me cope with the drag the pandemic was having on my wanderlust. Viewing my photos were an instant mood enhancer as I reminisced about all the great times I’ve had exploring the world. But what I noticed as I looked through thousands of photos was that my pictures didn’t always match the great memories. My photography skills suck. So, I reached out to George Ant, a professional photographer and fellow travel enthusiast, and we discussed what shutterbugs such as myself can do to make sure we are taking quality photos that will match our memories.

  • JazzduMetro: An American Expat living in Paris
Take a trip to Paris and ride the metro Parisien at the Madeleine or La Motte-Picquet Grenelle stations and you might just hear the tunes of Nat King Cole or Frank Sinatra being belted out in English and wonder from whence does it come. If one has the time to take a closer look/listen, you may discover that the man behind the voice is Marvin Parks, an American expat, Jazz singer, Comedian and most important, a man determined to build a community around his creative ideas.
