You folks remember that early 2000's movie about two people switching bodies and it becomes a whole fiasco of them trying to get back into their original bodies and chaos ensues and affects their families and careers? We're not talking about the 2003 film Freaky Friday, we're actually talking about the 2001 Henry Selick film, Monkeybone. Brought to you by the director of Nightmare before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach, and Coraline; is an odd mix of stop-motion animation, puppetry, and a live-action Brendan Fraser as he attempts to reason with the will of the fates and reclaim his life that was lost. Oh and there's a perverted farting monkey in it.

In this 21st century comedy, Brendan Fraser plays a down-on-his-luck but lovable goof that we all know and love. His desire? A girlfriend. His problem? Too socially awkward. The solution? Sell your soul to the devil for seven wishes but each wish comes with a caveat that ruins the whole experience until he figures out for himself that the key to true happiness is to be selfless. Truly an experience I think we can all relate to right?

Be warned.

After being a heroic treasure hunter in The Mummy, Fraser returns to his roots that we've seen in films like George of the Jungle and Blast from the Past where he takes on the sort of... "lovable goofball" persona. Only this time he's playing a Canadian Mountie with a sentient horse companion who's town gets taken over by Alfred Molina pre-Spiderman 2 and eventually fights a war with an indigenous tribe that's from Brooklyn New York against tanks and machine guns. Dudley Do-Right? More like Dudley Do-NOT!!
