If we say we are Christians, we must bear fruit. So, are we able to produce fruit on our own? Of course not! We bear fruit by remaining in the vine, Jesus Christ! Scripture teaches us that we must be prepared to suffer as Christians for doing good, when God appoints us to those times of persecution. But today we find ourselves in a rather odd place here in America, with something of a reprieve from persecution and suffering.
