In our third episode we have our first official guest, Danielle! She shares some of her family's experiences and offers some great insights about what happens when systems don't work well, and when they do. We also discuss using conflict as an opportunity for positive change.
Some topics include disabilities, public education and homeschooling, healthcare, CLTS, IRIS, seclusion and restraint, current systems and systems change, inclusion, and acceptance.
Real Life of Families with Disabilities.
In this episode we interview Melissa and share her experiences.
We are a group of Wisconsin Lakeshore mothers working to improve systems for meaningful inclusion, support, and acceptance of people with disabilities. Currently there aren't enough efficient and accessible ways for families to share their stories and advocate for real change. We intend to do our best to turn the tide. The goal of this podcast is to interview families with disabilities, share their stories and experiences with the world, and help educate people what life is really like for us and why.
