Christians should be the Jacobs, Josephs, and Daniels of our time. Our presence in an organization could be a blessing for and to that organization. #thebibleonbusiness #profitablestewardship #intrapreneur
Based on Matthew 22:1-10. #events #noshow #filltheroom Businesses have events, and we want the room filled. Sometimes we get disappointed with the turnout. Don't feel alone or defeated. This Bible story shares some strategies. Events are a great way to create new leads, sales, fans, and exposure. Even failures have lessons, so look for the lesson in every experience.
IF you believe, THEN you will receive (Matthew 21:22).
There are many conditional promises in the Bible. It is not OK to focus on the gift and ignore the condition to receive it. As sure as I will receive my Doctorate from Liberty University, if and when I complete the track set before me; God's promises are even more sure.
You are a diamond- beautiful, valuable, and appreciated. Me - I am NOT a diamond.
In fact, what if I am a Sapphire? Should I bleach my blue to be more like you?
They say success leaves clues - and that is true. However, as we look at those who we admire, who inspire us, and whose success we want to emulate - too many of us are becoming COPIES, in fact, fakes, of the thing we are trying so hard to BECOME.
Maybe, what we really need to do is not about BECOMING but REVEALING and REFINING!
If you are a diamond and I am a sapphire, I will not bleach my blue to become like you. Instead, I will see your success and celebrate it, and understand that your glitter and polish were because you submitted to the cuts, the grind, and the polish. That is something to replicate. Maybe we can emulate the success PROCESS without trying to become the other person. A Sapphire in the ground is not the beautiful gem we display in jewelry or art. In nature, the blue rock is not that pretty but within the surface ugly is a natural beauty waiting to be UNCOVERED. The Sapphire does not have to BECOME a diamond to be beautiful, valuable, and appreciated. However, despite the potential within, it is the cut and the grind, and the polish that brings to the surface, REVEALS and REFINES the beauty that lies within.
The Bible has a lot to say about purposeful work. You may not see it yet, but every experience in your life is preparing you to operate in your God-given purpose. It took Moses 80 years to learn what his real job was and it was not to play Prince in the Egyptian palace, nor to be a shepherd in Midian. However, those experiences shaped him to be the perfect person for the job God called him to do. That painful experience. The memory which haunts you. You somehow survived and like ingredients in a cake, independently those experiences may not be pleasant but all together, you are uniquely positioned to do a very special thing in a very special way. Even if it SEEMS like someone else is already doing it - your fingerprint will make your version unique. You were made with a purpose. Step into it.

Dr. Myron Golden is my business coach and today I share him with you. He has a history of amazing personal success, but even more impressive, he has helped many have $100K days in their biz. While that is not yet my story, I have already seen a 25% bump in my sales. The biggest reason I am so excited to share Myron with you is, he is a man of God with a solid grasp of the Word, a Kingdom identity, and an ability to share his success strategies using the word of God in such a way that even unbelieving audiences sign up to receive what he has to share. He is the author of several books, of which his most recent is my favorite, B.O.S.S Moves.
Myron Golden answers the following in this interview:
1. Let's talk about the software for success. A decade ago I played a prosperity game and got hung up when the universe handed me 60K. I played it again and it felt like a fairy tale when the universe handed me $2M. The third time I played the game I saw that $2M in my future. You talk about FOS - failure operating system and SOS success operating system, how do we rewrite/upload the SOS?
2. I've watched you go into secular environments and unapologetically use the word of God and I have watched unbelieving audiences still literally absorb like a sponge everything you say sure. I really want to empower the Christians who may be watching this show today. How do you do that and be so well received?
3. Let’s talk about starting a business, or the path of self-employment. The story of Jacob has him heading to Laban with just a walking stick and returning home in Genesis 30-35 with two groups of people, wealth and livestock. I am no Theologian, but I believe that switching from working as a hired hand to his father-in-law, then renegotiating his salary to a commission-based option where his pay was the spotted or speckled flock was a key to this wealth. Speak to the person who has been contemplating the switch and is fearful of this unknown path.
4. Let’s talk about the school work and the preparation for the mission ahead. There are many who choose to DIY their business operation without any guidance. Jesus learned a trade and was a carpenter, building furniture. Before Jesus started his ministry of building people, he spent 40 days in intense saturation with His father. Speak to the DIY mentality that often leads to many great business startups ending as business failures
5. Now let us talk about scaling to grow. In Acts 11:21, it says, “The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number of people trusted and turned to the Lord.” The Christian church has continued to grow over the centuries and has failed to die like many fads that have come and gone. Speak to the value of TRUST when it comes to scaling their business operation.
6. Billy Graham said, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MEN POSSESSING RICHES, THE WRONG COMES WHEN RICHES POSSES MEN. The one thing you said that had me write the check to have you as my Coach was, some use the people and love the money, it is better to love the people and use the money, and even better to use the money to love the people. Speak to the idea of sharing and philanthropy when God has blessed us.
7. Is there anything else you would like to share?
The elderly are often forgotten by family members busy living their own lives. Eventually, they depend more and more on others for help and not just in their activities of daily living, but also in their financial affairs. Ensuring their bills are paid and on time is not only about them having enough money to cover expenses. Very often it is just a matter of memory, and knowing how to navigate the online systems to send in timely payments. As a result, some turn to their health workers for help in the financial space and once they know their financial status, their online passwords, and more, it can become abusive, especially when they know that the family of the elderly does not check in, does not care, or is easily fooled into thinking all is well. Check-in with your elderly. Ensure their finances are not in jeopardy because they are trusting their Health Worker and others to be their Financial Helper too. While we are on the subject, put your legacy documents in place as well. I can help you create your Will, Trusts, Health Directives, Power of Attorney, and so on. Does your elderly have these in place in case you need to step in as their representative?
Pastors, Leaders, and Biz owners - this one is for you.
Inspired by the reading from Numbers 11:1-23, Moses - the reluctant leader of the 600,000+ children of Israel - has some real leadership challenges. His challenge and the solutions God offered give us insight into the burden of the work we do, how to scale and get more done and serve more people.
