SELF SABOTAGE!  The Paradox of success is, we want it, but we don't want what you need to do to get it.  To reduce the guilt for not achieving what we want, we sabotage our efforts creating instead a escape that leaves us looking more like a victim, than a cop out.  However, today, I am going to call out all of you hiding your greatness and covering your path to success.  

Is it possible you are shooting yourself in the foot you should be moving forward?

The paradox is, that to get to where we want to go, we have to leave the place we know.  To move from the comfort zone to the unknown is both scary and exciting and that is where the paradox lies.  No one wants to volunteer for pain, but the 'pain is gain' definitely applies here.  To get to the mountain top, we gotta climb, and climbing is difficult and dangerous, and so we justify - that maybe it isn't worth it and we abort shortly after starting.

We ALL have the potential for greatness, but we will not all accomplish greatness.  Few of us are willing to get out of our own way.

The complaints roll off the tongue like rain from the sky drenching everything and everyone in its path.  The dark cloud ever present.  The anger and frustration contagious.  The negative ninnys are all around us.  Very often, the negative ninny is YOU!

A woman called me claiming she wanted to fix her finances.  What followed was a Tsunami vomit of all her problems.  I could not get a word in edgewise, and when I did, it was immediately followed by another spit of toxic waste.  Frustrated, I called a halt to the downpour and told her, she was not calling for help, she just wanted another ear, to join her pity party. She was not looking for help, she was not ready to receive any help even if I were to serve it on a silver platter.   

Now, there is nothing wrong with venting, and everything she is experiencing is real - however, in her world, that is all that matters and that is all she wants to matter.

Every problem has a solution.  The problem is, some are not looking for a solution, and faced with the solution, many find a way to convince themselves that the solution is actually a new problem.  This is a person who is not ready to fix their financial problem.  When you are ready, the answer(s) will appear.

Does it take money to make you happy?  Can you be happy without it?  And if you do need money to be happy, how much money would that be?

Yesterday my  82 year old father in law came to the end of his life.  My 21 year old Stanford graduate is about to start his.  Money has been a huge part of these life phases and in each case, happiness levels seem to be challenged as a result.

On the day following my father-in-law's passing, I considered not doing a show today, but here I am, because the talk about money at the end of, and the start of life has been so urgent, so emotion filled and I know that my family is not the only one having these discussions and I just wanted to share some thoughts with you as you consider the impact of money on your happiness, regardless of your phase in life.

In so many ways, our happiness meter is dependent on money.  This is a discussion of this fact and what the Bible says, not so much about money, and more about our happiness or contentment with our life and money.

Seeing the un-seen is Vision. Believing the un-seen, is faith.   Getting others to share the vision is effective leadership.  Success is unquestioned when the un-seen becomes seen, and the vision becomes reality.  However, this process of something going from idea to reality, is totally built on faith, on believing in the vision.  Faith is believing in the unseen; or "the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1)  

So, a large part of success in leadership, depends on vision and faith.

Everyone has faith, the problem is, too many place their faith in the wrong thing.  Too many have visions of failure right at the moment of the idea not yet developed- yet they believe that failure will happen.  Too many have visions of financial ruin, when tomorrow has not yet happened.  YET, these same people who have clear visions of failure, ruin, pain, and all things negative, have the POWER to have clear vision for success, advancement, healing, and all things positive.

If we can change the vision, the next thing is to develop faith in the vision.  This show is not likely to deliver a clear and final answer to this huge issue.  However, this discussion needs to start.  I hope you will contribute your thoughts.  Please use the comment box on this page to share your thoughts on the matter.

Bling, bling. We are talking Gold and Silver.  That shiny, valuable thing that humans have seen as a symbol of wealth from the beginning of time - now makes it way in the hands of ordinary people with an extraordinary desire for lifestyle upgrades and personal prosperity. 

Gold and silver cannot be manufactured in a lab, nor created from a printing press.  Gold and silver have been around from the beginning of time and has been a sacred offering, a storage of wealth, and an exchange of value - and that has not changed even today.  What has changed is the public appreciation for precious metals.  

The general population, or the masses, have been trained to see gold and silver as simply jewelry and decoration, paying up to 300 times the value of the gold and silver in their trinkets, simply because they have been trained to do so.  Meanwhile, the wealth was being corralled into the hands of a tiny minority while the masses blindly hand over their wealth to the wealthy, without knowing that they are doing so.

Be part of a movement of people who appreciate and value gold and silver for itself.  We are convinced about gold and silver as an asset and as a way to hold and accumulate wealth.  On top of that, we see the signs of the times.  We see that cash no longer holds its place as king in society, we see that what cash can buy is dwindling away buying less and less each day as the government prints more and more of it creating massive devaluation and reduced purchasing power.

Today I am going to look at precious metals, the Bible, the Buyer and the business - because these are the three main areas of precious metal uses in society today.
