When Christ intervened in Paul’s life, He said to Paul: “I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.” Christ intervened and transformed Paul, giving him a ministry; may we be inspired by Christ and Paul. Mark recorded this: “So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.” Our Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Scripture states: "This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will." God testified to salvation in the His kingdom in the first century and continues to do so today. (June 19, 2019)

Our Lord said, “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth.” When Christ, through the Father, gives us the Spirit of truth, He intervenes in our lives—and by that Spirit He continues to intervene in ways seen and unseen. As Luke records in the Book of Acts, “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place…. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues.” Divine intervention changed the course of history in the first century, and continues to transform lives in the twenty-first century. In the Book of Acts, Luke records this: “Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.” Ten days after the Ascension, the floodgates of Heaven would open, and Christ would pour out the Holy Spirit—and supernatural signs would follow. During His forty days in His resurrected body, our Lord testified to those things pertaining to the kingdom of God. This declaration of the kingdom extends back to the early days of His ministry, and is seen in His prayer: “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (May 22, 2019)
