Episode 3 - Finding mental health support
In this episode young people Tish (18) & Lucy (16) discuss the importance of finding and access mental health support.
Often mental health services and support can exist for young people, but as we know, waiting lists via the NHS can be very VERY long and so other alternatives are often used.
Tish & Lucy talk discuss navigating this these windy roads to find services that benefited them in Bradford and they answer the Jimmy Cliff question of whats one thing they want adults and professionals to know about young people right now.
This episode was supported by Jabu Phiri, Research Associate at the Bradford Institute for Health Research. Help me, help young people get involved
Currently the young people involved are doing it, because they are passionate and interested in doing so. They are getting involved out of the kindness of their hearts.
However, in order for us to reach a more diverse group of young people, something called 'remuneration' can be key!
With this in mind, if you would like to support the podcast and the work I do, then please 'BUY ME A COFFEE'
This money can go towards ensuring ALL young people can be involved in my podcast, by offering remunration, enabling me to travel in person to visit people that may struggle, have anxieties about technology, or simply make better podcasts (in person is generally better than online in my experience).

Hearing straight from the sources mouth, young people, from across the UK join me in conversations on topics that matter to them.
