Zinnia & Cyprian (Bags & Wingspan) attempted a late southbound thru hike of the Appalachian Trail back in 2020. They were eventually forced off trail in the Shenandoah's due to winter weather but eventually made it back to the trail in 2021. After the AT, they headed out to the Rockies and completed the Colorado Trail. Our conversations consisted of topics including, what hiking the AT in the winter months were like, how tough a lonely trail can be and much more!

Joe (Knoxville) completed a northbound thru hike of the Appalachian Trail back in 2020. We had the opportunity to hike with him in the beginning of his journey and in this episode were able to talk about the rest of his non-traditional thru hike.
