Reviewing the last episode of season 3's Lower Decks and episode 11 of season one of Prodigy. 

The group reviews two shows dealing with the emotional and societal effects of race and discrimination, one from TOS and the other from DS9.

In ENT, Archer wants to help all the residents move passed their bigotry.  In TNG, we explore how Picard and Crusher deals with the drug issue differently.

Discussing both episodes from the lens of racism and discrimination.  We will discuss these concepts while looking at how specific characters dealt with these issues. In DS9, Sisko was originally discriminating based on employment and Odo attempted to expand the thinking of the Jem Hadar.  In TOS, we explore how Spock and McCoy dealt with the issue differently. 

The episode explores aspects of Section 31's organizational structure. 

Picard learns of his trauma's beginnings; Jurati is running amok; 7 and Raffi are comparing their love and Rios is falling in love.

We learn that our favorite captain, Picard, has a British accent all thanks to WWII.

With the help of Jurati's supped up mind, she and Picard determine that the American tax day, April 15th - which is just 3 days away, is when the timeline changes.

In a very clear nod to Star Trek: Voyage Home, Raffi and Seven are on a public bus with a man listening to an 80s era boombox radio.

Picard used the Borg Queen's coordinates and safely arrives at 10 Forward Avenue!  He runs into a very young Guinan who is not keen on talking or listening to him. 

Rios is detained in ICE custody.

Picard convinces Guinan to help him find the Watcher.

Not able to transport to Rios' detention center, Raffi and Seven decide to drive there.

Rios in transported from the facility as Jurati attempts to get the Borg queen to help transport them, after a police car chase.  We realize Jurati tricked the queen.

Picard convinces Guinan to stay connected to humanity.
