I did a little bit of quick research to get a little bit better understanding of how much water and power AI data centers use. Remember this is from a quick research standpoint, but now I have a little bit better understanding. Do your own research, don't listen to the talking heads or the dooms dayers.

As recent conversation has made me rethink DIY home security systems. As a big proponent of DIY everything, is a DIY home security system the right choice for seniors and the elderly?

Consolidate all of your passwords in one location, in a binder or notebook that has a cover. Store it in a safe locked location
The first place to start when learning technology when you are a senior is to take a moment to sit down with a notebook the write "Trez's Tech Podcast" on the cover. Label the first page "The List". Now start listing all of the technology in your home. List login names and passwords. Remember to keep this information in your safe or a locked drawer. Never share your passwords with anyone.
Trez reviews the Craftsman CMCVS001D1 cordless stick vacuum powered by Craftsman’s V20 20-volt lithium ion battery. It is perfect for seniors, lightweight, and cordless so you won't trip. I retired my upright vacuum and use this exclusively. This vacuum is about 46 inches long and weighs around 7 pounds and is super easy to use. It is perfect for use in your home, car/truck or in your man cave. The included attachments allow you to get into small spaces as well as vacuum carpets and hardwood floors. It comes with a 2 amp hour rechargeable V20 lithium ion battery and charger. A fully charged battery will give you up to one hour run time. If you are already invested in Craftsman’s V20 series of tools, you can utilize your supply of V20 batteries. It has three controls on the main unit. A power on/off press button, a three position slider speed control, and a on/off button that controls the rotating head that also has headlights for vacuuming in the dark ;) For seniors, it is so much safer than corded vacuums, much less of a trip hazzard. It is also Versatrack compatible, so you can install the Versatrack system in your broom closet and hang it up so your space is neat and tidy.
