Star Wars: Episode VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS celebrates it's 10th anniversary! It's been TEN YEARS since the Disney-era of Star Wars got kick-started with the Sequel Trilogy, giving us so many amazing new stories. It is only fitting that we revisit this special film that introduced us to new characters like Rey, Finn, Poe, and of course, Kylo Ren/Ben Solo. Does this film hold up ten years later? Was it a worthy way to honor the Original Trilogy and kick start this new era?

THE FORCE AWAKENS approaches it's 10TH ANNIVERSARY! It's crazy to think it's been a decade since the first Sequel Trilogy film kick-started this new era of Star Wars. Today however, we begin our episode by talking about another anniversary of the film that began STAR WARS!

STAR WARS (1977), or as it's known now A New Hope, celebrates it's 50TH ANNIVERSARY! To celebrate this gargantuan birthday, Lucasfilm has announced it will re-release the THEATRICAL CUT of the film! Since George Lucas released the Special Editions, a restored theatrical cut has been elusive. Today we discuss the expectation and excitement of experiencing this film how it originally was screened!

Additionally, 2026 sees the release a of next Star Wars film since the Skywalker Saga wrapped up in 2019: THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU. While we don't have too much information about what happens in this film, a new (alleged) plot leak gives us some information to speculate on. Guillermo is a filmmaker we've admired for a long time, from Blade II to Pan's Labyrinth, from Pacific Rim to The Shape Of Water, his films are something truly special and have his unique signature all over them. THE HUNT FOR BEN SOLO... The title might not be great, but the potential of this cancelled film is certainly thrilling. Recently, news broke that Adam Driver and Steven Soderbergh had been working on a script for a post-Episode IX Ben Solo film. Not only that but it seemed that the folks at Lucasfilm liked the concept, and a full script was completed with the intention of moving forward with the film, only for Disney CEO Bob Iger to kill the film since he couldn't understand how Ben Solo would be alive.

FIVE YEARS AGO, Nani, Moe, and Gus released the first TRIAD Of The FORCE episode! It has been such an incredible ride: we’ve met so many great friends, traveled to magical places, and grown so much. Now, after three phases, multiple adult, YA and junior novels, countless comic books, some short stories, a couple of manga, the Young Jedi Adventures animated series, an appearance in the video game Jedi: Survivor, this ambitious publishing initiative has come to an end with Charles Soule's Trials Of The Jedi. After all this, was The High Republic a satisfying journey?
