In this session, we’ll look at a 2024 I3D presentation by David Erler from The Forge, where he unveiled the second iteration of their Triangle Visibility Buffer—first introduced in 2013—now with a GPU-centric approach to triangle processing. While the results are encouraging, the method still faces several challenges.
