The latest episode in our series comes from an artist whose work we've admired for a long time; Canadian live electronics expert Dark Arps! We're starting the year and shaking off the hangover from our NYE party with another episode full of deep, electronic sounds. For our next expedition into the underground we bring you an artist who's sounds are generating a lot of interest from DJs and lovers of electronic music worldwide: Lee Williams.

One of the most sought after DJs on the UK's South Coast, he's had the opportunity to take his techy but progresssive sounds across Europe with performances in Germany, France and Switzerland as well as performances at Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Pulse Festival and Egg.

Having played alongside Sasha, Darren Emerson, Layo & Bushwacka amongst many others, his releases have attracted the attention of heavyweights like Dave Seaman and Dave Angel, and remix treatment from Digweed's production partner Nick Muir.

Our final episode of the year is by an artist whose unique and diverse sounds in the studio and behind the decks have earned him support from across the globe: label boss and all round rhythm freak, Boom Merchant! His pivotal releases have helped define the label's identity, and DMC Mag described his latest release with us as 'a really physical cut that will make people move their limbs without a care in the world.'

Releases on renowned labels like Motech, Process and Teleskopik have seen him continuously refine his signature sound. Data Transmission have described his work as 'rich and uncompromising analogue persuasions', 'full of discerning goodness from the first beat to the last.'
