I wan't sure what to expect when I began to read Hadley's book but once I got started I had trouble putting it down. It has many different layers. On the one hand it is an adventure, with the excitement and expectation of the author travelling to destinations such as Malaysia and the Andes to meet mysterious and powerful men that she has met online. On another level Hadley takes us along on her personal journey, seeking to discover her own identify and personal power after her CEO husband left her for a younger woman. On this journey she has the support of "The Tribe of Blondes", a group of women bonded by loss and search for love. Along the way the author comes to grips with her two children leaving home and a serious health issue. As the story progresses so does the author's faith in herself, her spiritual awareness and ability to grow and learn from her mistakes. The inspiring thing is that throughout it all Hadley manages to retain her courage, sense of adventure and joy of life. Not only is this book an interesting read, it offers valuable life lessons.
