I found a note I had written while going through the trenches of heartbreak a few years ago. A little reminder I needed that time does in indeed heal many things.

Sometimes life will let you start something that you truly enjoy and need to keep doing but it will also not make it easy for you to see it through. That why I almost quit this.

This is not how I thought I would spend my 30th birthday. It was better than I could have imagined.

Although I clearly didn’t ace this assignment, fun was had and good memories were made.

Behind every idea (whether good or bad) there's a story. This is not exactly a story and definitely not a good one, but it just made sense that I share what inspired this podcast and provide some context on the upcoming, I promise to be good, chronicles of being a tribe of one.

Introducing the podcast; life happens and gets in the way of our goals, but when life happens with anxiety as an accomplice - roadblocks turn into pit stops. Yeah, I'm a fan of The Amazing Race. Haha
