This week controversial rapper XXXTentacion calls into the podcast to discuss his new album "17" and he has a neat message for his fans. We drank a lot of coffee before this episode and both of us have ADHD so there a ton of topics we cover including: the new wave of SoundCloud rappers, bitter old hip-hop fans, the Kanye West and Taylor Swift hip-hop beef of the decade. We also introduce our first edition of a new series called reading old music forums. This week we read posts from the month that Kanye West dropped his classic debut album The College Dropout in 2004. Lastly, our friend Quavo from Migos laces us with a new track that features him doing ad-libs over the Star Spangled Banner.

In the first episode we discuss Drake falling out of the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time since 2009, the one year anniversary of Frank Ocean's masterpiece Blonde, and our favorite hip-hop albums of 2017 so far.
