There are so many people today playing Christian. Eventually, this becomes a frustrating game of trying to outsmart God. He knows our hearts, and all He desires from us is genuine love and faith. If this is the Christianity you desire, it’s time to throw the mask to the ground and give your heart to Christ.

One of the primary functions of the church of God is to Glorify the Lord. The Lord is altogether worthy of Glory, and we must be certain to give Him the glory due unto His name. Some will try to steel His glory, but He will not give His glory to another. We need to be sure that in all we do, we do it for His glory!
What a gracious and loving exchange God has made possible to those who will trust His Son. It’s humbling to think that He would love us enough to pay our sin debt in its entirety and replace that with such wonderful kindness and love. God is so so good.
Debate over theology has reached a fever pitch in our local churches. Sadly, in the pursuit of finding where everyone fits on the spectrum between Calvinism and Arminianism, many have made the critical mistake of buying into one camp or the other. We don’t need to land on a man-made spectrum. Instead, we must lean on the God-breathed Scripture to discover what God has revealed (and what He has not revealed) about His ways and His plan. I pray that God will use this series to take us all the way back to the traditional soteriology that the New Testament church held to for the first 400 years of Christianity before this debate was first ignited. There, you will rediscover the sweet, simple, powerful, consistent soteriology presented by God in His Word!
