A very important part of healing from the things that have caused us to get stuck is to make amends and ask for forgiveness from those that we have harmed. In this message we learn from a vial tax collector named, Zacchaeus, the value of making amends to the people we have harmed.

We have been taught that there are certain things that should be kept behind a closed door that no one needs to know about. However, if we were to look at the things that you keep behind your closed door we would find the things that keep you stuck. Step #5 is about getting vulnerable and dealing with the things behind your closed door.

Step #4, We resolved to make a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. Does not sound like very much fun, does it? You are right it does not; however, this is where some very powerful things can happen in your journey.

Freedom begins in step three. Freedom from what has gotten us stuck is not possible by simply stopping the habit, behavior, or addiction. Freedom is only possible through surrendering to Jesus Christ.

The reality is whether we want to believe it or not we all get stuck throughout our lives. The great news is though, we do not have to stay stuck. The difference maker is what you do when you are stuck. Do you get help?

Getting stuck is just part of being human, but the great news is we do not have to stay stuck. The first step to becoming unstuck is to admit that we are powerless over our mess and our life has become unmanageable.

"On the way," Jesus asked the disciples a very important question that everyone one of must answer at some point in our life. Who do you say that Jesus is?

As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ we look at an important question that Jesus originally asked Peter, but applies to each of us. "Do you love me?"

A question that everyone needs to ask themselves at times is "do I really want to get well?" Our first reaction is to think why would we not want to get well, but unfortunately not everyone wants to get better or make the situation better. For some getting better means they will not have anything to complain about any more.
