Paul Harrington considers our role in evangelism in the context of God's sovereignty. We must continue to introduce people to God, but not overemphasise human responsibility in their conversion. It is not us who converts them to Christianity, but God himself. He chooses his people. He is sovereign.

Chapters 10 and 11 in 1 Corinthians encourage us to put the good of others before our own. The greatest example we have is Jesus, who lived and died for our own good.
