After returning from Catalyst Duncan feedbacks from the festival and how God has stirred him. Duncan brings the message that it is Jesus who builds his church, our job is to be salt and light to the world.

The kingdom of heaven is very different from our western world view, phrases like every English man's home is his castle are opposed to God's Kingdom.

Throughout the life of Jesus people flocked in crowds to be healed by the power of God. Amazingly that power is alive a well today, and the grace of God to heal changes lives.

In the old testament our relationship to God was based around working to earn his favour, give your tithe to him, make sacrifices to atone for our sins, obey the law of God. In the new testament God have proclaimed his banner over us is Love.

It can be easy to slip into a legalistic old covenant mentally that we must work for the approval of God, but we must remember that Christ died for us when we were still dead in sin - his approval is freely given.

Time and time again God works with people not because of the amazing skills they possess but because they are humanly flawed. In our weakness Gods Strength in shown, we as Christians should look out for the unloved and the unlovely.

Duncan looks at the book of Luke and draws the example that we must cross the line of faith and put our trust in Jesus.
