1 John 3 commands us to love like Jesus, and to get rid of all anger and hatred in our lives. It's a steep command, but one that points at God's deep desire for us to experience the epic life that He created us for.

Today we open Psalm 1 and hear that it is not enough to just read the bible, but that we are to sit in it, rest in it, reflect on it.

We open 2 Timothy 3 and explore how the bible gives us a foundation to live as Christ followers in our world.

We read 2 Samuel 6 today and hear from David that worship in all of our lives requires surrender to God, letting go of our will, and obedience to His.

Dueteronomy 6 shows us both a prayer and command that we are called as Chirst-followers to worship God in a way that is unlike the way our culture functions. We are to worship God with all of our lives, we are to refocus our time, energy, and money on serving God, unlike our me centered culture.

We start a new series today looking at what scriptures says that worship is to be in our lives.
