We open Judges 13 and hear the origin story of the man with flowing locks, and massive strength, Samson

Today in our second message on Gideon we journey with God's "Mighty Warrior" as God informs him that to conquer the enemy army he needs an army 1/100 of the size he current has. Our second message on Gideon helps us wonder if we trust and see God at work in our life in all kinds of circumstances like Gideon did.

In our first message on Judges we look at the fatally flawed character of Gideon, God's Mighty Warrior, who is well, no so mighty. We get a picture of what courage looks like, and a reminder that God can and will do impossible things through his broken and flawed people.

In the wrap up of Ruth, we get to hear and see a beautiful picture of God's faithfulness and what redemption looks like. Redemption is costly, powerful, and impactful.

Where is God in the midst of our everyday choices and lives? And how do we balance praying and trusting in God, and not sitting on our hands waiting for God to do what he already prepared us to do.

In Ruth 2 we continue to follow our lead characters, as they model gratitude to God and one another for his blessings in their lives.
